Dandeli March 21st to 23rd , 2019

Dandeli is one of the hotspot for resident endemic wester ghats species of birds and has one of the pristine forests of India. The Old Magazine House resort hosts number of forest birds on carefully arranged and maintained water bath. The water bath is simply a soccer filled with water and kept is open place where the birds from adjoining forests come for drink and bath. This provided excellent opportunity for bird photographers to click and enjoy the birds. There is hide maintained neat these water bath sites.

We (Myself, Alok, Alpana, Rahul and Vaishali) wanted to exploit the HOLI holidays and decided to use the opportunity to click forest birds at OMH. We travelled by train from Mumbai to Londa junction and from there we could get a taxi to directly reach to OMH. Same procedure we followed for our return journey back to Mumbai.

Following are some of the photographs clicked at OMH site.
